Origins:

Mrs. Barclay – husband worked on RR and gave Music lessons
Cara Johnstone & sister “Nurse” Johnstone – both mentioned as early as 1913.

Features:

- wood floors & trim
- heat grates
- boards stamped “North American Lumber Wheatland” (North American Lumber was operating in Rivers before the GNP Railway line arrived, good were shipped to the CP Station at Wheatland

Miss Miners was a Grade 9 student in Rivers in 1910.
